Dr. Kim serves as the Director of the Translational Research Subcore (link:…) of the UW/Fred Hutchinson Center for AIDS Research and is the Associate Editor of Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C Online, both CDC-sponsored web-based curricula. She founded and leads the AID/DOM Research Collaboratory (link:, a UW initiative to foster patient-centered clinical investigation and facilitate health services research leveraging the electronic medical record. Her work to date has focused on liver-related comorbidity (viral hepatitis, end-stage liver disease and liver cancer) in people living with HIV.
