bio

Dr.Bomsztyk is a physician-scientist who has approached research through developing microsensors, biotechniques, instrumentation and computational tools.  Recognizing the complexity of transcriptional and epigenetic control in health and disease, Dr. Bomsztyk's laboratory has been advancing high throughput technologies and computational tools to study these processes and networks.  First, with Fast ChIP followed by Matrix ChIP and more recently by a high throughput instrument for chromatin/DNA/RNA/protein sample preparation, PIXUL,  and a system for storing and sampling tissues, the CryoGrid.
