Dr. Altman is a Board Certified Allergist and holds academic positions as Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases as well as Affiliate Professor of Oral Biology and Environmental Health at the University of Washington School of Medicine.
Dr. Altman has been involved in research studies through the University of Washington since 1975 as well as at the ASTHMA, Inc. Research Center, where he serves as a member of the board. In 1984 he joined private practice with Northwest Asthma & Allergy Center, but continues active participation in basic research. Dr. Altman is an enthusiastic jogger and classic car collector.
