McKenna Eastment, MD, MPH is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine and the Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. She is a physician scientist working in the areas of global women's health including cervical cancer, implementation science, HIV prevention and treatment, and COVID-19. She has led cluster randomized trials in Kenya, as well as analyses in the US amongst the veteran population. She believes strongly in providing equitable access to healthcare and is a member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee in her division as well as an avid reader of non-fiction in the areas of systemic racism and discrimination.
