Dr. Limaye directs the Solid Organ Transplant Infectious Disease Program at University of Washington. He interacts with trainees at "plate rounds" on the general and SOT ID services and in the SOT ID clinic. His clinical and collaborative research activities are primarily focused on viral and fungal infections in SOT patients.

- Infections in immunocompromised hosts, including viral (CMV, BKV, respiratory viruses) and fungal pathogens
- Herpesviruses in ICU patients
