BIO
Dr. Negin Nekahi is the Deputy Chief of Staff over Acute Care Services and clinician at the Puget Sound VA Medical Center. Her previous work focused on herpes viral replication and innate immunity to poxviruses and their use in vaccine platforms. She also focused clinical work on Clostridium difficile infection management and prevention. She has completed extensive work on decreasing antibiotic use in hospitalized patients. She still remains involved in resident and fellow education with a particular interest in mentorship for leadership roles.
