Gabriel Mendoza, MD, is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Allergy and Immunology at UW. He is pediatric board-certified allergist and immunologist who specializes in the allergy care for both children and adults. He is a member of professional organizations including the American Academy of Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology and the American College of Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology. Dr. Mendoza believes in evidence-based, equitable medical care, making sure that that the primary concerns of the patient are addressed in every visit, and that all medical information is communicated in a clear manner. He enjoys seeing how his work helps improve the quality of life of his patients.
Dr. Mendoza's clinical interests include the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of food allergies; the diagnosis and treatment of atopic dermatitis and eczema; and the diagnosis and treatment of asthma. Dr. Mendoza enjoys different athletic and wellness activities including basketball, volleyball, weightlifting, kayaking, and yoga. He also enjoys to watch sports of all kinds, play board games, learn about different cultures, and spend time with his spiritual community. Dr. Mendoza is fluent in both English and Spanish.
