Our vision of promoting diversity includes providing opportunities and fostering an inclusive atmosphere for underrepresented and/or disadvantaged groups and individuals.

Training opportunities for visiting medical students & residents:

AID Scholars Program 

The AID Scholars program seeks to promote diversity and inclusion by providing scholarships to qualified medical students or residents with diverse backgrounds in the medical profession.

 

Department of Medicine’s Visiting Scholars Programs

The Department of Medicine has programs for medical students and residents from diverse backgrounds who are interested in training opportunities at UW. 

The Visiting Scholars Program (VSP) is designed for medical students and the Visiting Resident Scholars Program (VRSP) is designed for Internal Medicine Residents. 

Both programs are integrated with the AID Scholars Program. The VRSP is also available to applicants interested in rotations within other Divisions.
