Weekly Infectious Disease Conference

Sessions

Faculty and fellows of the Infectious Disease Division, as well as frequent attendees from Laboratory Medicine, Microbiology, and other departments, participate in a weekly conference centering around recent clinical cases of particular interest.

The presenting fellow and faculty review relevant microbiological and clinical aspects of the case, discuss pathogenesis and epidemiology, and provide a summary of the presentation and appropriate references in a handout posted on our internet site. Hospital epidemiology, including infection control, is covered in this series.

CFAS Seminar Series

Seminars Series aims to provide a forum to showcase new research on sexually transmitted infections, with additional priorities of highlighting junior faculty and creating opportunities for cross-discipline collaborations between basic scientists, clinical researchers and epidemiologists.
