Perfect Seattle Day: Start with a walk to Pike Place to pick up some fresh fruit (my husband has a fruit guy there) and fresh flowers, grabbing a dirty chai from a new (to me) coffee place, stop by Wild Rye on my way home to get some fresh bread for sandwiches. Next would be a drive out to the Cascades for a easy to moderate hike, or maybe in Seward park if I wanted to start my day a bit later, and have lunch on the trail at a scenic spot. On return to home, take some time to freshen up before going downtown for a nice dinner and drinks near Benaroya Hall (Tulio, Wild Ginger, or Purple); then go see a performance by the Seattle Symphony to conclude the night.
Hobbies: I am someone who is both happy out and exploring new places, traveling to new locals, doing outdoor activities such as snow skiing and hiking; as well as locking myself in my apartment with my dogs and husband, sleeping in as long as I can, reading a book and playing piano. I love appreciating art in it's many forms including music and physical media, though my own artistic creativity is severely lacking so I rely on paint-and-sip events where they tell me what to paint and the time pressure keeps me from agonizing too much, cross-stitching from someone else's pattern, or playing someone else's score.
