Compensation

All our fellowships (ACGME and non-ACGME), under our Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, uses the RFPU-NW UW Resident/Fellow Compensation Schedule.

Additional funds and benefits

  • Educational funds for fellows to pursue a Master of Public Health degree from the London School of Tropical Medicine, attend the Gorgas Course, or pursue other relevant academic interests of their choosing.
  • Research funds to support fellows’ research project(s).
  • Travel costs of the round-trip flight to fellows’ second year site.
  • Free coverage for international emergency medical and security insurance.
  • Travel costs and lodging from Seattle orientation to clinical sites.
  • Travel costs and lodging from clinical sites to Seattle to attend the University of Washington Global Health Leadership for the Clinician course (GH 575).  
  • Fellows and their partners/spouses can connect to a UW GME Wellness Counselor. UW GME Wellness offers free, confidential and unlimited counseling (individual and couple) as well as referrals to community resources. Currently, all visits are virtual (Zoom). Interested trainees can find more information, including how to schedule, on the GME Wellness page.
